The Obinofia Ndi Uno community is situated in Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State with over 500 families. We discovered a lot of loopholes and vulnerability, especially with the health centerhaving only two nurses and an occasional doctor who visits once a week catering to all their medical needs.

"It wasn't always like that..." they told us. The health center had functional staff quarters where the resident nurses and doctors stayed in case of emergencies. Due to lack of maintenance, the nurses now sleep in the medicine store, and the environment was not befitting to be called a health center.

So, we commenced a project to rebuild and refurnish the staff quarters. The community and health center staff showed their gratitude for our intervention at the opening ceremony. We hope to do more for the community sometime in the future.
